James Simondson
Assistant Director of Policy, British Property Federation
James commenced his role at the BPF in 2020, after moving from Melbourne, Australia to London. Coming from a strategic urban planning background in government, James now focuses on the UK’s institutional private rented sector (PRS), and in particular the emerging Build to Rent sector, representing their needs to key stakeholders in government and the community.
Outlook for the institutional PRS and Build to Rent
James will be speaking more about how the institutional PRS and Build to Rent have largely weathered the economic storm that brewed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Looking ahead, Build to Rent is positioned to play a key role in delivering high-quality, professionally managed rented housing, serving a dual purpose – improving the renting experience and helping deliver homes to tackle the UK’s housing crisis.
